This Steady Subscription Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Steady Finance Inc. ("Steady", "we", "us", or "our") and the individual accepting this Agreement ("Subscriber", "you", or "your").
This Agreement governs your purchase and use of a Steady Subscription.
By creating a Steady account, purchasing a Subscription, or electronically accepting this Agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
Your Steady Subscription provides access to the Steady platform and certain subscription benefits made available by Steady from time to time.
These benefits may include:
This Agreement governs only your Subscription.
Additional Steady products and services are governed by their own agreements, disclosures and consents where applicable.
Nothing in this Agreement creates or governs any credit, lending, savings, investment or other regulated financial product.
In this Agreement:
To purchase a Subscription, you must:
Steady may refuse, suspend or terminate a Subscription where permitted by law.
Your Subscription provides access to the subscription benefits available at your subscription level.
Benefits may include:
Subscription benefits may change from time to time.
The Subscription Fee will be displayed before you purchase your Subscription.
Unless otherwise stated:
Subscription Fees become earned by Steady when charged and are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
You authorise Steady and its authorised payment service providers to collect your Subscription Fee using your nominated payment method.
You agree to maintain accurate and current payment information at all times.
Failure to maintain a valid payment method may result in suspension or cancellation of your Subscription.
Your Subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
By maintaining your Subscription, you authorise Steady to continue collecting the applicable Subscription Fee until cancellation becomes effective.
You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your Steady account or by contacting Customer Support.
Unless required by law:
Cancellation of your Subscription does not affect obligations that arose before cancellation.
Your Subscription is separate from any other products or services offered by Steady.
Cancelling your Subscription does not automatically cancel any other products or services you have with Steady that are governed by separate agreements.
Likewise, cancelling or completing another Steady product or service does not automatically cancel your Subscription.
Where you choose to apply for or enrol in another Steady product or service, you may be required to review and accept separate agreements, disclosures or consents.
Your Subscription is not:
Purchasing a Subscription does not entitle you to receive credit or any other financial product from Steady.
Eligibility for any future products or services is determined independently and may require separate applications, agreements, eligibility assessments and regulatory checks.
You agree that Steady may communicate with you electronically regarding your Subscription.
Communications may include:
Steady collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information in accordance with the Steady Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy forms part of your relationship with Steady.
Steady may modify:
where permitted by applicable law.
Where required, reasonable notice will be provided before material changes take effect.
Steady may suspend or terminate your Subscription where:
Termination of your Subscription does not affect any separate agreements you may have with Steady.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your Subscription or use of the subscription services.
Nothing in this Agreement limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the province or territory in which you ordinarily reside, together with the applicable federal laws of Canada. Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes any rights or protections available to you under applicable consumer protection legislation or other laws that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in the province or territory whose laws govern this Agreement.
